Power System Consultant (m/f/d)

Siemens PTI (Power Technologies International) is experiencing strong growth in demand for advanced power system services, both from internal Siemens projects and a wide range of external clients. To support this expansion, we are looking for experienced professionals with strong expertise in power system analysis.

Siemens PTI delivers consulting and simulation services for power systems in renewable energy (wind and solar), generation facilities, transmission and distribution networks, and industrial grids. We are particularly seeking experts in dynamic analysis and modelling (including RMS and EMT studies).

Your Responsibilities.

• Working alongside an international team of engineers.


• Contributing to the achievement of the team’s objectives.


• The candidate shall be able to execute highly skilled studies in the area of load flow, short\-circuit, dynamics and transient simulations.


• Carry out grid connection and grid code compliance studies.


• Come up with innovative solutions for power networks: Feasibility studies, contingency analysis and assets development.


• Create technical reports and support the client.

Your Profile.

• Solid technical knowledge on power system analysis.


• At least 5 years of proven experience in the power systems field.


• Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese, and English. Further languages will be a plus.


• Experience in managing power system projects.


• Academic background such as paper and patent publications will be considered.


• Experience in dealing with customers.


• Sound knowledge of power system analysis tools such as PSS®E, DIgSILENT Powerfactory, PSCAD, etc… Both in the static and dynamic domains.
