Working hours: 37:00 hours per week – working 5 days in 7 across Monday \- Sunday – 07:00 \- 15:00/12:00 \- 20:00\*

You’ll work on a rotating shift schedule, including some weekends. Your rota will confirm your hours and delivery routes, which may vary based on demand.

You’ll be required to work Sundays between 10:00 and 18:00\.

What to expect
This role is physically demanding and fast\-paced:

• Walking long distances (up to 12 miles / 20,000\+ steps)


• Driving a Royal Mail van daily


• Working in all weather conditions


• Delivering letters and high volumes of parcels


• Busy, time\-pressured days, especially during peak periods

About you
We’ll provide full training, a uniform, and an iconic red van. You’ll need:

• A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address)


• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and able to pass a driving assessment


• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg\+ mailbags


• Reliable and self\-motivated


• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment


• Customer\-focused, with pride in delivering great service


• Comfortable working outdoors and independently
