As our Portfolio Capacity \& Demand Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring NFU Mutual’s Enterprise Change Portfolio is resourced to succeed. This is a strategically important role that leads proactive capacity planning across the business and Group Change, enabling delivery teams to operate effectively and efficiently. You’ll be at the heart of shaping how we forecast, manage, and optimise resources to support transformational change. You will shape and optimise resource capacity across the Enterprise Change Portfolio, ensuring demand is effectively balanced and delivery momentum maintained. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders and Group Change leadership to forecast and validate resource requirements, manage demand plans and support financial alignment.

You will play a key role in developing and embedding a robust, data\-led resource management framework that drives consistency, scalability and strong governance across the enterprise. By identifying and mitigating resource risks and pinch points, you’ll help ensure the portfolio remains deliverable and aligned to strategic priorities.

Alongside this, you will provide clear, timely insight to support confident decision\-making, while leading and developing a high\-performing team to build capability and a sustainable talent pipeline across Group Change.

About you
-------------

You bring a blend of strategic leadership and technical expertise in capacity planning and resource management. You have experience designing and embedding structured resource management frameworks and are confident operating in complex environments, using data and insight to influence decisions and drive outcomes. You are experienced in engaging senior stakeholders, balancing competing demands, and translating analysis into clear, actionable recommendations. You are a strategically minded capacity planning professional with proven experience in enterprise resource management, including designing and embedding frameworks in complex organisations. Brings strong analytical expertise, with advanced Excel and Power BI skills to support data\-led decision\-making.

  • Strategic thinking with strong problem\-solving capability

Qualifications:
  • Management of Portfolios Practitioner (Essential)

  • Scaled Agile (SAFe) Lean Portfolio Management (Desirable)

  • APMG Better Business Cases (5 Case Model) (Desirable)

  • Management of Value Practitioner (Desirable)
