We’re hiring: Full\-Time Pokémon TCG Sales \& Buying Assistant

Crescent Collectibles is looking for a knowledgeable Pokémon TCG enthusiast to join our new shop in St Annes.

Pay: £14 per hourHours: 37\.5 hours per week over five days, including weekends

You’ll help customers buy, sell and trade Pokémon cards and sealed products. The role includes assessing card condition and authenticity, checking current market prices, making buying offers within our guidelines, processing sales and keeping stock organised.

You’ll need strong Pokémon TCG knowledge and the confidence to discuss cards and prices with customers. Previous experience buying and selling cards would be a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with buying and selling Pokémon TCG products, providing expert guidance on card values and sets


• Manage inventory levels through accurate data entry and updates in ERP systems such as SAP, SAP ERP, Oracle EBS, JD Edwards, or AS400


• Coordinate purchasing activities by evaluating card conditions, negotiating prices with suppliers and collectors, and processing transactions efficiently


• Support logistics operations by tracking shipments, organizing stock in warehouses, and ensuring timely delivery to customers


• Utilize merchandising techniques to display products effectively online and in physical stores, enhancing customer engagement


• Maintain detailed records of sales transactions, purchase orders, and inventory movements within ERP platforms


• Collaborate with the supply chain team to forecast demand, optimize stock levels, and streamline procurement processes

Skills

• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, SAP ERP, Oracle EBS, JD Edwards, or AS400 for inventory management and order processing


• Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable deals with suppliers and collectors while maintaining positive relationships


• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles to ensure efficient movement of products from suppliers to customers


• Experience with merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility both online and offline


• Familiarity with Pokémon TCG products, card grading standards, and market trends to provide accurate valuations and advice


• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail


• Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and engaging with customers confidently
