Podiatrist

Job Summary

In this role, you will work closely with our team of friendly staff taking responsibility for assessing, diagnosing, and providing treatment for our patients.

For areas in which you're keen to enhance your knowledge and skills, we provide one\-to\-one training with you and can enrol you on courses to add to your skill set. Our goal is to expand your scope of practice, ensuring you continue your professional development as well as providing the highest level of care for our patients.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ foot and ankle health, including physical examinations and medical history reviews


• Diagnose various foot, ankle, and lower limb conditions such as injuries, deformities, infections, and chronic diseases


• Develop and implement effective treatment plans, including prescribing medications, recommending orthotics, or performing minor surgical procedures when necessary


• Educate patients on foot health, injury prevention, proper footwear, and post\-treatment care to promote long\-term wellness


• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Cliniko for documentation and follow\-up appointments

• A passion for helping people move better


• Bachelor's degree in Podiatry or equivalent qualification


• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• All aspects of routine podiatry


• Nail surgery

• Phits 3D printed insoles

• Verruca needling
