Location: Milton Keynes
Contract: Full Time, Permanent, 42.5 hours per week (8am-5pm Monday- Friday)

About the role:
As a Plumber you will be working with Milton Keynes city council providing a stable and profitable contract, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community. As a Plumber with our Milton Keynes branch, you will undertake a wide range of plumbing repair and maintenance tasks within occupied properties, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Reactive plumbing repairs including minor works
- Small repairs such as leaking taps and plumbing systems
- Changing baths and carrying out basic plumbing installations
- Working independently on most jobs, with support from colleagues on larger works
- Using a handheld device to record works, timesheets and photographic evidence
- Maintaining company vehicles, tools and equipment to required standards
- Ensuring excellent customer service and clear communication with residents
- Adhering to all health and safety, quality and cost control requirements
- NVQ qualification or proven experience in plumbing
- Experience of working within social housing environments
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, friendly and customer focused approach

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
