Plant Nursery Production \& Dispatch Operative.

We are a busy wholesale plant nursery supplying garden centres, landscapers and trade customers across Ireland.
We are seeking operatives to support daily plant growing, dispatch and nursery operations.

We are seeking an experienced operative to support both plant production and dispatch operations. This is a hands\-on role in a fast\-moving outdoor nursery environment, working with live plants \& nursery machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking and preparing plant orders accurately for dispatch


• Loading, organising and securing CC trolleys for transport


• Potting, spacing, grading and general plant production work


• Moving and organising stock across growing areas, yards and dispatch areas


• Monitoring plant quality and identifying issues early


• Maintaining clean, safe and organised production and dispatch areas


• Working efficiently to daily delivery deadlines and seasonal production targets


• Supporting and guiding other staff during busy periods

Essential Experience:

• Comfortable with physical, outdoor work in all weather conditions


• Strong attention to plant quality and detail


• Reliable and able to work efficiently in a team

Highly Desirable:

• Experience with chemical spraying and crop protection treatments


• Previous experience in a plant nursery, horticultural production, dispatch, warehousing, logistics or similar environment


• Experience with nursery or yard machinery, such as potting machines, Norcar, front loaders or forklifts

Desirable (not essential):

• Experience with nursery machinery (Potting Machines, Norcar, Front loader, etc)


• Experience with irrigation systems or equipment
