Plant Fitter / Engineer
We are looking for a field service engineer.
Pay negotiable depending on experience.
Work van will be provided with a fuel card for successful applicants.
We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our Plant Repair Department. You will be required to carry out maintenance, fault\-finding and repairs to a wide range of construction plant and recycling equipment throughout London and home counties.
Responsibilities include:
\- Operate \& inspect plant or equipment in order to diagnose defects.
\- Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using diagnostic equipment. (Training Provided)
\- Repair \& replace damaged or worn parts
\- Test plant or equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance.
\- Service machinery
To be successful within this role you must have:
\- Ideally qualification as plant mechanic/fitter or similar experience considered.
\- Proven experience working with a range of plant equipment, machines and hydraulic equipment.
\- Confident in the diagnosis of electrical and hydraulic systems
\- Good time management, organisation skills and be able to work to deadlines
\- Computerised job sheet/timesheet system
\- Ability to prioritise own workload and manage expectations
\- Ability to weld would be an advantage
\- Attention to detail
\- Proactive approach
\- Full UK licence required for the field service engineer
\- CSCS card an advantage(Can apply once employed)
Job Type: Full\-time
Pay: £20\.00\-£25\.00 per hour
