Are you an experienced Plant Engineer looking for your next challenge? We're seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Plant Engineer to join a growing team covering Manchester and the surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a modern fleet of heavy plant machinery, receive ongoing training, and earn excellent overtime while enjoying the freedom of a field\-based role.

The Role

As a Mobile Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, diagnostics and repair of a wide range of construction and heavy plant equipment at customer sites.

Your duties will include:

  • Diagnosing hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults

  • Carrying out planned maintenance and inspections

  • Attending breakdowns and providing effective repairs

  • Completing service reports and documentation

  • Delivering exceptional customer service on\-site

  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience working as a Plant Engineer, Plant Fitter, Service Engineer or Heavy Plant Technician

  • Strong hydraulic, mechanical and electrical fault\-finding skills

  • Experience working on excavators, dumpers, telehandlers, loading shovels or similar machinery

  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent (preferred)

  • Full UK Driving Licence
