Summary

We are looking for Plant Area colleagues who are enthusiastic and able to work as part of a team. You will have a passion for horticulture or be an exceptional gardener able to share your knowledge and experience with our customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive engaging experience.


• Respond to customer enquiries providing the best advice and product recommendations.


• Responsible for merchandising to maximise sales opportunities, promoting stock in key areas.


• Support with ordering of product as per seasonal requirements.


• Responsible for stock management within plant area.


• Maintain healthy shrubs and plants, undertake watering, pruning and disease/pest inspection.


• Collaborate with team members to create a friendly and efficient working environment.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills ability to engage with customers.


• Capable of maximising opportunities to up\-sell and cross\-sell.


• Comfortable with change and able to adapt quickly.


• Have a positive can do attitude towards all aspects of work.


• Be able to motivate yourself and work without direction from a manager.


• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
