Planning & Supply Chain Manager

We are looking for a proactive and commercially focused Planning \& Supply Chain Manager to lead our planning, procurement and supply chain activities. You will ensure materials, resources and suppliers are aligned with production requirements, driving operational efficiency, cost optimisation and on\-time delivery to support business growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans and material delivery schedules to support customer and business requirements.


• Monitor project and production schedules, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.


• Lead supply chain improvement initiatives, including ERP/MRP system development and supplier performance management.


• Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing and terms with suppliers.


• Manage procurement activities to ensure materials are delivered on time, in full and at the most competitive cost.


• Work closely with Engineering, Production, Operations and Finance teams to optimise BOMs, inventory levels and supply chain performance.


• Monitor supplier performance, conduct audits and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain function.


• Lead and develop team members while promoting best practice and operational excellence.

Knowledge and Skills

• Proven experience in a planning, procurement or supply chain role within a manufacturing environment.


• Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management and supply chain processes.


• Experience using ERP/MRP systems (SAP experience desirable).


• Excellent negotiation, supplier management and stakeholder engagement skills.


• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify cost\-saving opportunities.


• Excellent analytical, problem\-solving and decision\-making abilities.


• Effective communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis.
