Planning Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail\-oriented Planning Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing project schedules to ensure timely and efficient completion of construction and infrastructure projects. Duties

• Develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 software to create detailed schematics and system designs.


• Collaborate with project teams to establish realistic timelines, resource allocations, and critical path analyses.


• Monitor project progress regularly, updating schedules to reflect actual performance and adjusting plans proactively to address delays or issues.


• Coordinate land surveying activities and integrate survey data into planning documents utilizing MicroStation and ArcGIS.


• Prepare detailed reports on project timelines, resource requirements, and potential risks for stakeholders.


• Support construction teams by providing technical input on system design and schematic development, ensuring alignment with project specifications.


• Assist in reviewing construction drawings and schematics for accuracy and compliance with design standards.

Skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6


• Strong project management skills with the ability to develop and maintain detailed schedules.


• Experience with Mathcad for calculations related to system design and engineering analysis.


• Knowledge of construction processes, land surveying techniques, and schematic development.


• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system designs accurately.


• Familiarity with CAD standards and best practices in civil engineering projects.


• Excellent communication skills for coordinating between multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
