We are looking for a motivated Working Student Fraud Software Development / Automation to support our Fraud Engineering team. In this role, you will help build internal tools, automation scripts, data integrations, and lightweight backend services that improve fraud workflows and support scalable fraud prevention processes in a modern e\-commerce environment.
You will work closely with Fraud Engineering on automation, internal tooling, APIs, fraud prevention systems, SQL, Python, and software development to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency without adding unnecessary complexity.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain internal tools, automation scripts, and lightweight backend services for fraud\-related workflows
- Support recurring fraud operations through process automation, data integrations, and technical improvements
- Work with APIs, SQL databases, structured data, and fraud\-related systems to improve operational efficiency
- Contribute to fraud prevention initiatives including rule\-testing support, case analysis workflows, and scalable automation solutions
- Collaborate with technical and non\-technical stakeholders to translate operational fraud challenges into practical software solutions
- Ongoing Master’s studies in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Business Informatics , or a comparable technical field
- Practical programming experience with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java
- Basic understanding of APIs, backend services, SQL, databases, and software development workflows
- Interest in automation, fraud prevention, risk systems, internal tooling, and e\-commerce platforms
- Hands\-on and pragmatic engineering mindset with strong communication and structured problem\-solving skills
