Pizza Production Baker

Sturdy Foods is a manufacturer of artisan pizza dough balls and pizza bases based in Leeming Bar, North Yorkshire and supplying nationwide both to trade and direct to customer.

We’re looking for a production line baker experienced with working with different kinds of pizza dough and who loves creating consistently outstanding products.

On a day to day basis, you’ll be responsible for the following.

· Managing live fermented dough systems within a continuous manufacturing environment over days.

· Maintaining output, quality and consistency of the production line and ensure daily production plans are achieved.

· Achieving QAS standards for weight, size, bake profile and product appearance.

· Highlighting any production issues and liase with management as required

· Coaching and mentoring other team members on dough production and management to ensure cross training is carried out where applicable.

· Identifying and carrying out continuous improvement projects within the business related to dough production and production line operation.

· Assisting in any future new product development that utilises baking skillset.
