Physiotherapist & Performance Coach
Brick Performance is a data\-driven biomechanics and performance company using VALD technology (force plates, dynamometers and forceframe) to help athletes and active professionals move pain free, train smarter and perform at their best. We run advanced biomechanical assessments and deliver personalised programming through clinics in London and Sydney, plus a growing app\-based platform.
The role
We’re looking for a physiotherapist who is equally passionate, and has experience about performance coaching – one person who can assess, treat and coach clients through full rehab\-to\-performance journeys. You’ll work as a self‑employed practitioner, contracted for around 20 hours per week, based out of our London Liverpool Street site. You’ll lead 1:1 biomechanical assessments, interpret objective testing data, design progressive strength and conditioning programmes, and coach clients in\-person with some opportunity to support our online/app\-based clients.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high\-quality musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy assessments and treatments for active and athletic clients.
- Run comprehensive biomechanical assessments using VALD technology and other testing tools, then translate findings into clear, actionable plans.
- Design and coach progressive strength \& conditioning programmes for performance, return\-to\-sport and injury prevention.
- Educate clients on load management, movement quality and long\-term performance habits, not just short\-term pain relief.
- Contribute to our app\-based programming where needed: exercise libraries, testing protocols and feedback on product features.
- Maintain accurate clinical notes and outcome measures, contributing to our data\-led approach to decision making.
- Collaborate with the wider team on case discussions and occasional content or workshops.
- Qualified Physiotherapist with HCPC registration (or in process) and strong MSK/sports interest or experience.
- Additional background or clear interest in strength \& conditioning, performance coaching or exercise physiology.
- Comfortable working with motivated, goal\-driven clients – from recreational athletes to high performers.
- Confident interpreting objective testing data and turning it into simple language and clear training plans.
- Strong communication skills; able to coach on the gym floor as well as in the treatment room.
- Self‑motivated and business\-minded: comfortable working on a self‑employed basis with responsibility for diary management and client relationships.
- Curious, growth\-minded and excited by technology, testing and building something new.
- The chance to be an early team member in a growing performance and health\-tech company.
- A role that genuinely blends hands\-on physio with high\-level coaching and cutting\-edge biomechanics.
- Structured learning around testing, programming and performance, plus exposure to multi\-site and international operations.
- Supportive, performance\-focused environment with autonomy and clear impact on client outcomes.
- Self‑employed arrangement, allowing flexibility within an agreed 20‑hour weekly commitment.
- Location: London, Liverpool Street site.
- Contract type: Self‑employed practitioner, approx. 20 hours per week or a part time contract.
- Fee structure: £40 hourly rate or a part time contract of £30\-38k
Benefits:
- Flexitime
- Gym membership
- On\-site gym
