Physiotherapist - Musculoskeletal
We are Shona and Claire , physiotherapists and owners of West End Physio. We are a fun, creative, function focused and evidence based small team in the West End of Glasgow. We offer physiotherapy, massage, psychotherapy and home visit physiotherapy.
Our passions lie in supporting and rehabilitating people functionally ; learning, applying evidence to our practice and working as a team to help people reach their goals and get back to what they love whether that be high level sport, or managing to get up the stairs with less pain. We like to give people body optimism and solutions. Our clinic is now well established and is fast gaining a reputation as a centre for specialised care in back pain and complex chronic pain. We have referrals coming from Glasgow and throughout Scotland and as well as frequent referrals from spinal consultants, and other health professionals. We regularly speak on BBC Radio Scotland mornings programme on back pain. We aim to put the patient very much at the centre of their care, and we help our clients to have the knowledge and tools to understand their pain problem and a clear rehab plan to get better. We teach on Glasgow Caledonian University Msc and Post Grad physio programmes and offer case review / training / seminars to other health professionals. We are also keen to develop the teaching / education side of the business and we have started delivering packages to local businesses on staying well at work and how to reduce back and neck pain, with good results and feedback.
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a forward thinking, reflective physiotherapist to work for a team who will support them to develop, or fine tune their core skills of MSK assessment , diagnosis and patient centred rehabilitation.

\- rehabilitation skills, including confidence with therapeutic touch, using your hands to help build confidence, mobilise and reassure, from a whole system perspective.
\- high level listening and communication skills, especially in promoting body optimism
\- helping us grow our business through innovative ideas , socials, media and networking
\- reflective practice / regular case review and CPD
\- multi\-disciplinary working
\- flexible working hours / weekend work
