Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing personalised treatment programmes to improve patients' mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall well\-being. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through expert physiotherapy care. The position is suitable for both experienced professionals and recent graduates seeking internship experience.

Who we are

We are a 54 bedded nursing home in Preston, who care for individuals with ABI, spinal injury and neurological conditions from the age of 17 years old. We are Nurse\-led and have an in house Neuro Physiotherapist, a Physio Assistant and seek a further person to add into our busy team. We provide both slow stream and more active physiotherapy and rehabilitation. We have a physio gym and our very own hydrotherapy pool.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions and medical histories

  • Develop customised treatment plans based on individual needs and goals

  • Administer physiotherapy techniques such as manual therapy, exercise therapy, and electrotherapy

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment programmes accordingly

  • Educate patients on injury prevention, posture correction, and home exercises

  • Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations

  • Use of hydrotherapy pool

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care

  • Support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals through encouragement and professional guidance
Skills
  • HCPC approved qualification in Physiotherapy BSc (hons)

  • HCPC registration

  • CSP membership highly desirable

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members

  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously

  • Ability to motivate and inspire patients during their recovery process

  • Knowledge of current physiotherapy techniques, equipment, and best practices

  • Compassionate approach with a genuine interest in patient well\-being
Pay: From £18\.00 per hour
