Pharmacy Storeskeeper Location: 20 Devonshire Place, London W1G 6BW
Hours: 37\.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday)
Salary: Band 2 About the role
We’re looking for a proactive and organised Pharmacy Storeskeeper to join our Pharmacy team at The London Clinic. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our pharmacy distribution and procurement services, supporting the safe and efficient delivery of medicines across the hospital.
Working closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and wider clinical teams, you’ll be at the heart of maintaining stock levels, managing deliveries, and helping ensure patients receive the care they need without delay. What you’ll be doing
You’ll support both distribution and procurement, with responsibilities including: Distribution
- Providing ward and department top\-up services
- Assembling stock for final checking and issuing via the hospital system
- Receiving, unpacking and storing medicines, ensuring correct stock rotation and expiry checks
- Booking in deliveries, processing returns, and maintaining accurate stock records
- Managing pharmacy fluids and supporting Pyxis stock systems
- Ordering and replenishing stationery and sundries
- Supporting the day\-to\-day ordering of medicines and pharmacy supplies
- Managing returns to suppliers for incorrect or surplus stock
- Assisting with invoice processing and resolving order discrepancies
- Monitoring outstanding and late orders
- Ensuring procurement records are maintained accurately
- Handling queries from staff, patients and carers in a professional manner
- Supporting stock control practices, including annual stock take
- Contributing to service improvement initiatives and pharmacy projects
- Promoting a collaborative, safe and efficient working environment
- A highly organised and reliable team player
- Strong attention to detail, particularly with stock management and accuracy
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, stores, or logistics environment would be beneficial (but not essential)
- A willingness to learn and contribute to a busy, patient\-focused service
