Job Title: Pharmacy Sales Healthcare Advisor

Reports to: Pharmacy Supervising Pharmacist

The Pharmacy Healthcare Advisor plays a vital role in delivering excellent customer service and healthcare advice in a community pharmacy setting. You will support pharmacists in the day\-to\-day running of the pharmacy and provide over\-the\-counter health advice, helping customers with their medication needs and general health concerns.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with professionalism and empathy.


• Provide information and advice on a wide range of health and wellbeing products.


• Support dispensing and over\-the\-counter sales in compliance with legal and ethical standards.


• Maintain up\-to\-date knowledge of pharmacy products and services.


• Promote pharmacy services such as, flu vaccinations, and smoking cessation programs.


• Ensure shelves are stocked and products are correctly priced and displayed.


• Assist in maintaining pharmacy cleanliness, order, and safety.


• Handle transactions and operate the till accurately.


• Complete and maintain accurate sales and customer interaction records.


• Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.

Requirements

Essential:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Basic knowledge of health products and medicines.


• Customer\-focused with a caring and approachable manner.


• Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment.


• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Desirable:

• Experience in retail or healthcare settings.


• IPU Medicines counter assistant course (or willingness to undertake training).


• Knowledge of pharmacy systems and procedures.

Training \& Development

• On\-the\-job training provided.

You must be available to work weekends and bank holidays.

Two references must be available.

Experienced applicants will be paid up to €16\.00 per hour and Sunday rate will be paid up to €24\.00 per hour
