We are seeking a dedicated and detail\-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team. Duties

• Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and pharmacy protocols


• Assist pharmacists in preparing and organising medication orders for patients


• Provide guidance and information to patients regarding medication usage and potential side effects


• Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and inventory levels


• Support medication administration processes within the pharmacy setting


• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper storage of medicines


• Assist with patient care activities as directed by the pharmacist, including answering queries and providing support during consultations


• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dispensary area to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

• Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or dispenser is essential


• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and patient care practices


• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in handling prescriptions and records


• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals


• Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast\-paced environment


• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to regulatory standards


• Relevant qualifications or certifications in pharmacy assistance or related fields are desirable
