Duties

• Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with doctor’s instructions and pharmacy protocols


• Assist with medication administration and provide guidance to patients on proper usage


• Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and update patient profiles accordingly


• Support inventory management by stock checking, ordering, and organising pharmaceutical supplies


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper storage of medicines


• Provide compassionate patient care by answering queries and offering medication\-related advice


• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes

Skills

• Proven experience as a pharmacy technician or dispenser within a healthcare environment


• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmaceutical terminology


• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to minimise errors


• Excellent communication skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients


• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team


• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and record keeping practices


• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to regulatory standards
