Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail\-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate dispensing of medications and providing exceptional patient care. You will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the correct medications and understand their usage. This position is vital in supporting our commitment to high\-quality pharmaceutical services.
Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescribed medications in accordance with legal and professional standards.
- Assist in medication administration under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Provide information and support to patients regarding their medications, including dosage instructions and potential side effects.
- Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care and medication management.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and storing medications appropriately.
- Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser/Technician or in a similar role
- Knowledge of medication practices and patient care principles.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines within the pharmacy setting.
Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Pay: £12\.70\-£13\.00 per hour
