Job Title: Pharmacy Delivery Driver \- Holiday \& Sickness Cover Delivery

Location: Cork County, Ireland

Employment Type: As\-needed cover throughout the year (holiday \& sick leave cover) \- Part \-Time 25/30 hs a week Monday to Saturday

Start Date: 28\.05\.2026 to 03\.06\.2026

About Us: We are a well\-established pharmacy operating across Cork County, committed to delivering essential healthcare products safely and efficiently.

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to provide ongoing holiday and sickness cover across the entire year. The first required cover period is 28 May to 3 June 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver prescription and over\-the\-counter medicines to patients, care homes, and healthcare facilities across Cork County.


• Operate our company van in compliance with road safety and pharmacy delivery protocols.


• Ensure timely, secure, and confidential handling of all pharmaceutical items.


• Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain required signatures.


• Communicate professionally with patients and staff, respecting privacy and urgency.


• Assist with *loading/unloading* and route planning when needed.


• Other basic maintenance tasks and general support for the daily operation of the pharmacy as needed

Requirements:

• Full, clean B category driving licence.


• Strong reliability and punctuality.


• Good communication skills and professional demeanor.


• Basic understanding of healthcare confidentiality and handling procedures.


• Previous delivery experience preferred, ideally in healthcare or logistics.


• Garda vetting is required prior to start.


• Strong English fluency is required.
