Pharmacy Assistant

About the Role

As a Pharmacy Assistant at Blackrock Pharmacy, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. You will support our pharmacist in the day\-to\-day running of the dispensary, assist customers with over\-the\-counter queries, and help maintain a welcoming and professional environment. Because we are newly opened, this role offers real scope to develop your skills and grow with the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner


• Advise customers on over\-the\-counter medicines and health products


• Manage stock, including receiving deliveries and organising shelves


• Operate the pharmacy till and process payments


• Ensure the pharmacy is kept clean, tidy, and presentable at all times


• Adhere to all pharmacy regulations, confidentiality requirements, and PSI guidelines

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Previous retail, customer service, or healthcare experience is a plus but not essential


• Pharmacy experience is welcome but not required — full training will be given
