Pharmacy Assistant

Key responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with warmth and professionalism, offering advice on over\-the\-counter products where appropriate


• Support the pharmacist and dispensing team with the accurate preparation and dispensing of prescriptions


• Handle customer queries in person and over the phone, ensuring a positive experience for every visitor


• Manage stock control, including receiving deliveries, checking expiry dates and restocking shelves


• Process transactions at the till and handle payments accurately


• Maintain a clean, tidy and well\-organised pharmacy environment


• Adhere to all confidentiality, health and safety, and regulatory standards

What we're looking for:

• A genuine interest in healthcare and helping people


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable manner


• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures accurately


• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment


• A reliable team player who can also use initiative when working independently


• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail or customer\-facing role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided


• Discretion and respect for patient confidentiality at all times
