Pharmacy Assistant

Join the friendly team at Allied Pharmacy in North Cornelly as a Pharmacy Assistant, where you'll play a key part in delivering excellent care and service to our local community. Key responsibilities:

• Assist with the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions under the supervision of the pharmacist


• Welcome customers and provide a friendly, helpful service at the counter


• Respond to customer queries and refer clinical questions to the pharmacist where appropriate


• Receive, check and manage stock, ensuring shelves are tidy and well\-presented


• Process sales, payments and over\-the\-counter medicine requests in line with pharmacy procedures


• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all health, safety and governance standards


• Support the wider pharmacy team with general day\-to\-day duties

What we're looking for:

• A warm, approachable manner and genuine commitment to customer care


• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a close\-knit team


• Good attention to detail and a methodical, reliable approach to tasks


• Willingness to learn and develop within a community pharmacy setting


• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail or customer\-facing role is welcome, though not essential


• A relevant pharmacy qualification (such as NVQ Level 2\) would be an advantage, but training can be provided for the right candidate
