We are seeking an experienced Design Manager (m/f/d) for our exciting Pharmaceutical Facilities project in Milan.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Coordinate disciplines and project activities, control and forecast engineering deliverables against schedule and project milestones


• Work in close coordination with procurement, subcontracting, construction and project controls teams


• Prepare and review material and construction requisitions for mechanical, piping and utility systems


• Manage the preparation of key multidisciplinary project documents (P\&IDs, equipment lists, line lists, utility consumption data, design specifications, etc.)


• Organize, contribute to and document multidisciplinary coordination meetings to ensure timely project execution


• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry requirements, quality standards and applicable regulations


• Support design reviews, risk assessments and technical evaluations throughout the project lifecycle


• Report directly to the Project Manager

Show your expertise
-----------------------

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Energy Engineering or a related discipline


• Minimum of 10 years of experience as Project Engineer, Lead Engineer or Design Manager within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences or related industries


• Strong understanding of GMP\-regulated environments and pharmaceutical facility design is highly desirable


• Nice\-to\-have: Experience working on construction sites and brownfield projects


• Very good knowledge of Italian and English


• Willingness to travel and work within multidisciplinary and international teams

The salary range for this position is between € 54,500 and € 61,500 gross per year (full\-time). The exact salary will be determined within this range based on objective and transparent criteria, including role scope, qualifications, and relevant professional experience.
