Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organised and dependable Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to a senior executive. This Brighton-based role involves a mix of business and personal administration, requiring discretion, flexibility, and excellent organisational skills.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and able to manage a varied workload efficiently while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
Diary & Schedule Management
- Manage complex calendars, appointments, and scheduling conflicts
- Coordinate meetings, bookings, and personal engagements
- Ensure effective time management and prioritisation of commitments
- Handle correspondence, emails, and telephone calls
- Draft letters, documents, and communications on behalf of the executive
- Organise and maintain filing systems (digital and paper-based)
- Assist with personal errands and day-to-day requests
- Arrange personal appointments (e.g. medical, travel, dining reservations)
- Support with household or lifestyle management where required
- Plan and book travel arrangements, including transport and accommodation
- Create detailed travel itineraries
- Assist in organising events, meetings, or private functions
- Support with basic financial tasks such as expenses, invoices, and budgeting
- Liaise with service providers, contractors, and suppliers
- Monitor and manage bills, subscriptions, or household expenses if required
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Act as a gatekeeper and key point of contact for the executive
- Build relationships with internal staff, external partners, and personal contacts
Essential
- Previous experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar administrative role
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- High level of discretion and trustworthiness
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Experience supporting high-net-worth individuals or senior executives
- Flexibility with working hours where required
- Driving licence (if travel or errands are required)
- Highly dependable and proactive
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
