Hello. I am a visually impaired individual living independently in Hull seeking a warm, reliable, and trustworthy Personal Assistant to help me manage my home and daily nutritional needs. I am looking for someone who can be a consistent, positive presence to help me maintain my independence and quality of life.

Hours Per Week: \[6\-8]
Schedule: working from 5:30pm suitable times can also be arranged.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide reliable support across the following areas:

• Shopping \& Cooking:


• Planning menus and handling all grocery needs. This will require either driving me to and assisting me at the shops, or going to the supermarket on my behalf.


• Preparing fresh, healthy, home\-cooked meals (primarily lunch and dinner).


• Household Management:


• Thorough cleaning of the house (kitchen, bathroom, living areas, etc.).


• Managing laundry (washing, drying, folding, and putting away).


• General home organization to ensure the environment is safe and easy to navigate.


• Occasional assistance with light administrative tasks, such as sorting and reading essential post/mail, managing documents, and making necessary phone calls.

The best fit for this role will be someone who is:

• Warm and Patient: Able to approach tasks with empathy, understanding the challenges of vision impairment.


• A Great Cook: Must genuinely enjoy cooking and preparing varied, tasty meals.


• Trustworthy: Discretion is valued, and honesty is essential.
