Personal Assistant/Financial Services Administrator
About Us
Peter Harding Wealth Management is a growing and established wealth management business with offices across Dorset and Wiltshire. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service to our clients and building long\-term trusted relationships.
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and personable Personal Assistant to support the Business Owner in a varied and fast\-paced role.
This is not a traditional “sit quietly and manage a diary” PA position. We are looking for someone who enjoys being involved, takes ownership, builds strong relationships across the business and is willing to get stuck in wherever needed.
The role would particularly suit someone with experience in financial services or professional services administration who enjoys variety, client interaction and being a trusted support person.
The Role
You will provide day\-to\-day support to the Business Owner, helping to manage client activity, administration, communications, scheduling and ongoing projects.
The role combines traditional PA responsibilities with elements of client service, administration, coordination and operational support.
No two days are the same — one day may involve preparing client documentation and coordinating meetings, while another may involve helping resolve a client issue, liaising with internal teams or supporting a wider business project.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a busy diary, appointments and meeting schedules
- Coordinating client meetings, confirmations and follow\-ups
- Preparing and collating client documentation and meeting packs
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and internal teams
- Drafting professional correspondence and emails
- Maintaining accurate client records and documentation
- Supporting with client administration and ongoing service requests
- Liaising with providers and third parties
- Assisting with ad hoc business projects and initiatives
- Helping ensure excellent client service is delivered at all times
- Supporting the smooth day\-to\-day running of the Business Owner’s activities
The ideal candidate will be:
- Highly organised and able to prioritise effectively
- Proactive and confident in finding solutions independently
- Calm under pressure and adaptable
- A strong team player who builds positive relationships
- Professional and personable with excellent communication skills
- Naturally client\-focused with high standards of customer service
- Trustworthy and discreet when handling confidential information
- Comfortable managing a variety of administrative and coordination tasks
- Someone looking for a long\-term opportunity within a supportive business
Preferred:
- Experience within financial services, wealth management or professional services
- Previous PA, client support or senior administration experience
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of financial planning or wealth management processes
- Experience preparing client documentation or reports
We are looking for someone who wants to become part of the business for the long term — someone who enjoys building relationships, being relied upon, and making a genuine difference to the day\-to\-day running of a busy professional environment.
In return, we offer a supportive team culture, a varied role with real involvement in the business, and the opportunity to work within an established and respected wealth management practice.
