PERSONAL ASSISTANT / CARER WANTED
Bulgarian \& English Speaking \| West London \| £13–£14 per hour
Unity Staffing Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a client in West London for a warm, reliable and experienced Personal Assistant / Carer.
This is a fantastic long\-term opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing high\-quality, consistent care and support.
THE ROLE
- 45 hours per week, 6 days a week (1 day off — Saturday or Sunday)
- Start time: 7am
- Long\-term, regular placement — not agency shift work
- Direct Payment client
- Personal care and daily living support
- Companionship and social support
- Community activities and appointments
- Light household tasks
- Supporting with communication where needed
- Must speak Bulgarian and English fluently — this is essential for this role
- Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this if needed)
- Previous experience as a PA, carer or support worker
- Warm, patient and reliable personality
- Respectful of privacy, dignity and independence
- Experience working with Direct Payment clients
- First Aid certificate
- Driving licence (not essential)

Responsibilities
- Providing personalised support in daily routines, including assistance with personal care and household tasks
- Managing appointments, schedules, and organising activities in line with care plans
- Assisting with transportation needs, including driving the individual to appointments or social engagements
- Maintaining clear communication with healthcare professionals, family members, and other relevant parties
- Supporting the individual in their home or care environment to promote independence and well\-being
- Keeping accurate records of care activities and any changes in the individual's condition
- Utilising IT skills to manage documentation, correspondence, and scheduling efficiently
- Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment at all times
- Proven experience working within a care home or providing home care support
- Valid driving licence and ability to drive safely and confidently
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Basic IT skills for managing schedules, documentation, and communication tools
- Compassionate attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and adapt to changing needs
Pay: £13\.00\-£14\.00 per hour
