Reed Cambridge is looking for an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our Business Support team, managing a warm and high-potential desk recruiting for admin, customer service & sales roles cross the Cambridgeshire area.

You’ll take ownership of a commercial Business Support desk, recruiting office-based roles such as administration, customer service and wider business support positions. You’ll work closely with local clients, becoming their go-to recruitment partner while growing your market through proactive outbound business development. This role is office-based in Cambridge and involves regular client visits across the local patch.
What you’ll be doing
- Developing new and existing client relationships across Cambridge and surrounding areas
- Meeting clients on-site to understand hiring needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions
- Sourcing, engaging and managing candidates through advertising, networking and referrals
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from initial brief to placement and aftercare
- Working towards clear KPIs while building a sustainable, profitable desk
- Confidence building relationships and winning new business
- A proactive, resilient and commercially minded approach
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
