People Partner (12 Month FTC)

We have an exciting opportunity for a People Partner to join us on a 12\-month fixed\-term contract, supporting our Residential Division.

This is a true business partnering role, working closely with Managing Directors, senior operational leaders and clinical colleagues to drive the people strategy and support the delivery of key business objectives across the Division. Acting as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for senior stakeholders, the successful candidate will build strong relationships, influence decision\-making and ensure that people initiatives are aligned with operational priorities, commercial objectives and organisational goals.

The role will take a lead in delivering strategic people plans, supporting organisational change, workforce planning, talent development, engagement initiatives and culture improvement programmes. The successful candidate will help shape and deliver commercially focused people solutions that drive performance, improve organisational effectiveness and enable the Division to achieve its strategic ambitions.

Alongside the strategic focus, the role will provide leadership support to People Advisors, offering coaching, support and guidance across a broad range of employee relations matters and change management activity. The People Partner will manage their own caseload and lead on more complex and high\-risk cases, partnering with managers to provide commercially focused, pragmatic advice that balances business needs, employee experience and risk, whilst ensuring compliance with employment legislation, internal policies and best practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who combines strong commercial awareness with excellent people partnering skills, enjoys balancing strategic leadership with hands\-on operational support, can quickly establish credibility with senior stakeholders and is passionate about translating people strategy into meaningful business outcomes.

What you'll be working:

This position is full time, 37\.5 hours per week. With 3 days working from home and 2 days travel per week.

What you'll be doing:

• Working Collaboratively with senior managers and leaders, to develop and implement HR initiatives that align with the organisation’s strategic objectives and company behaviors.


• Build and maintain strong, trust\-based relationships with key stakeholders to enable effective coaching and influence. Support managers in making people\-related decisions that align with the organisation’s people strategy, while ensuring legal compliance and financial responsibility.


• Contribute towards the review and development of HR policies and procedures that align with organizational values and best practice.


• Provide advice on policy, employee relations, conflict resolution in line with employment law and Company Policy.


• Assist in talent management initiatives, including recruitment, performance management and succession planning.


• Support the development and implementation of employee engagement strategies to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.


• Analyse HR data to identify trends and provide insights to inform business decisions.

• CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards it.


• Previous experience in a generalist HR role


• Knowledge of employment law and HR best practice


• Driving Licence and ability to travel


• Previous experience working in a Health and Social Care Setting
