Location: Hybrid, with required attendance at Manchester Metropolitan University

Salary: £20,000 (starting) \+ benefits

Contract: Full\-time (2 year programme)

Responsibilities

You’ll be embedded within our business, supporting real HR activity from day one. As you grow, your responsibilities will evolve to include:

  • Supporting employee relations and HR processes

  • Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and talent development

  • Contributing to wellbeing, engagement, and inclusion initiatives

  • Helping managers with people\-related challenges

  • Using data and insight to improve employee experience and performance

  • This is a hands\-on role where you’ll learn how HR directly impacts business success and employee satisfaction.
Your apprenticeship journey
  • Programme: People Professional Apprenticeship (HR)

  • University: Manchester Metropolitan University

  • Qualification: CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management

  • Professional Recognition: Eligibility for Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development

  • Study Format: Blended learning with required university attendance in Manchester
You’ll develop skills across key HR areas including employee relations, talent management, inclusion, wellbeing, and employment law—building the foundation for a long\-term career in HR.

Entry requirements

  • CIPD Level 3 Foundation Qualification or equivalent qualification (104 UCAS points). Non\-standard entry routes available.

  • 18 months exposure to people management practices.
Designed for aspiring HR professionals; applicants must be employed in a suitable HR‑related role.
