People and Culture Advisor

We're looking for a proactive People & Culture Advisor to join a busy HR team, providing expert guidance across the employee lifecycle and supporting managers on a range of people matters.

This role is 1- 2 days in the office and the rest remotely.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional with strong employee relations knowledge and a passion for creating a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing advice on onboarding, pre-employment checks and Occupational Health recommendations


• Supporting managers with probation reviews, extensions and outcomes


• Assisting with recruitment and resourcing activities


• Maintaining HRIS records and supporting payroll processes


• Managing absence cases and advising on attendance procedures


• Supporting employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances and performance management


• Advising on HR policies, procedures and employment law


• Contributing to HR projects, employee engagement initiatives and organisational change activities


• Delivering training and workshops for managers and employees

• CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent)


• Previous experience in a generalist HR Advisor or People Advisor role


• Strong employee relations experience


• Sound knowledge of UK employment legislation


• Comfortable using HR systems and Microsoft Office


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills


• Able to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment
