People Advisor - part time
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and professional People Advisor who is passionate about delivering an exceptional service and thrives in an environment of continual improvement. This role will manage the employee life cycle , provide ER support to Managers and support legislative and business changes to policies and well being/inclusion projects.
Key Responsibilities
· Production of all employee life cycle documentation and managing workflows within the HRIS
· Updating all template documentation and team handbook as necessary
· Regularly reviewing all documentation and workflows for improvement
· Monitoring and reporting on various measures within the business
· Supporting Managers on specific Employee Relations cases and providing training to Managers on various topics
· Keeping up to date with all Employment Law and taking proactive action as necessary
· Supporting well\-being and inclusion projects
Skills
· 3\+ years ER experience
· CIPD level 5 or QBE
· Strong communication skills
· Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast\-paced environment
· Superb attention to detail
· A strong desire to contribute to change
· A good knowledge of GDPR
· Experience of setting up workflows within a HRIS is desirable
Working hours of 22\.5 hours per week, ideally worked across Mon\-Friday, with an office presence one day per week. We offer hybrid working and are very open to discussions around working hours and location.
You'll receive the FTE of 25 days holiday, death in service cover of 4 x salary, a health cash plan, the ability to buy and sell holiday, the ability to attend various social and charitable events and payment of professional subscriptions such as CIPD. You'll be supported to develop in your role through tailored learning and development plans.
