About the Role:
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated PE Specialist Teacher to work across a variety of secondary schools in South West London. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons, inspiring students to develop their physical skills, teamwork, and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Plan, prepare, and assess student progress in line with the national curriculum
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Encourage participation in physical activity both within lessons and extracurricular activities
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Experience teaching PE within UK secondary schools
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain valuable school experience
- Experienced teachers seeking flexible or long-term opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
