PCV/HGV Technician - Automotive - North Wales - £42,000

About the company

An established and growing fleet operator has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated Senior Technician to join their PCV/HGV maintenance facility in North Wales.

This is a hands-on role working on a modern fleet including Mercedes, Scania and Volvo vehicles.

A relocation support package is available for the right candidate looking to make a career change and join a business based in beautiful North Wales.

PCV/HGV Technician - The details

  • Hourly rate of £17.50 - £20.50, depending on experience and licence

  • £40,000+ earning potential including on-call

  • On-call bonus available up to £200 per week

  • Structured hours with additional overtime opportunities

  • Relocation support package for the right candidate

PCV/HGV Technician - Requirements & Responsibilities
  • Proven PCV / HGV maintenance experience

  • IRTEC qualification, or equivalent

  • Strong diagnostic capability and good IT literacy

  • A flexible, reliable and proactive approach

  • Strong team ethic and a "right first time" mindset

  • A commitment to maintaining DVSA and company standards

PCV/HGV Technician - Responsibilities
  • Inspections, fault diagnosis and repairs,

  • Ensure the fleet remains roadworthy, safe, compliant and presentable at all times.

  • Support and mentor junior fitters, driving high standards across the workshop and contributing to the continued development of the engineering team.
