- Assures manufacturing, quality and reliability of technically challenging PCBAs throughout the outsourced supply chain
- Lead complex root cause investigations for PCA\-related manufacturing and field failures in collaboration with Product Engineering, R\&D and the CM. Coordinate corrective and preventive actions across internal teams and manufacturing partners.
- Identify manufacturability and testability risks during new product introductions (NPI). Provide DFM feedback regarding layout, solderability, assembly robustness, and process capability.
- Assess DFT readiness and support implementation of efficient test coverage strategies
- Act as technical engineering partner for manufacturing sites and suppliers.
- Analyze manufacturing, test, repair, yield, and reliability data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Apply data\-driven methods to identify systematic process weaknesses.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or university degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Materials Science, Physics, or a comparable field.
- Strong practical knowledge and professional experience in electronics/PCBA manufacturing and testing are mandatory, including PCBA design, manufacturing processes, and test methods
- Excellent analytical and problem\-solving skills, demonstrated by leading root cause investigations and driving resolution of complex manufacturing, quality, and reliability issues using structured methodologies.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, enabling effective alignment of Contract Manufacturers and cross\-functional teams to drive corrective actions, quality improvements, and operational excellence.
- Advanced data analysis skills, including extraction, interpretation, and presentation of complex manufacturing, quality, test, and reliability data to support problem\-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to travel 5\-20% of the time.
