Our client are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their finance team on a fully remote basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone comfortable managing both UK and US payroll, who enjoys getting into the detail while also contributing to wider finance projects and system improvements.
This role is perfect for a Payroll professional looking for a role with international exposure, plenty of variety and the opportunity to get involved in more than just the monthly payroll cycle.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing the full payroll process for UK and US entities, including EOR employees
- Processing payroll journals and monitoring payroll system integrations
- Managing UK and US employee expenses through NetSuite for reimbursement via payroll
- Processing benefit invoices and coordinating payments relating to benefits, statutory deductions and taxes
- Reconciling all payroll-related balance sheet accounts
- Supporting quarterly VAT calculations
- Completing Group VC accrual calculations
- Identifying and implementing system and process improvements
- Supporting the Group Financial Controller with special projects and wider finance initiatives
Knowledge of systems such as NetSuite, Rippling or PayFit would also be useful, although experience with similar payroll and finance systems will absolutely be considered.
Alongside payroll, this role offers the chance to develop your accounting knowledge with exposure to balance sheet reconciliations, expenses, journals and audit.
