Contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end monthly payrolls for permanent and casual employees


• Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with statutory legislation


• Process maternity, sickness, paternity, shared parental leave, and other absences


• Prepare and reconcile payroll reports for BACS authorisation


• Produce payslips, P45s, P60s, and support P11D processing


• Ensure compliance with PAYE, RTI submissions, and pension auto-enrolment


• Administer employee benefits including private medical and cycle to work schemes


• Respond to payroll queries in a timely and professional manner


• Support payroll system upgrades and legislative updates


• Produce payroll reports for internal stakeholders


• Support payroll projects and wider team initiatives

• 2+ years’ payroll experience within a medium or large organisation


• Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and compliance


• Experience processing end-to-end payroll


• Good Excel and Microsoft 365 skills


• Experience with payroll systems (Resourcelink desirable)


• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines


• Confident communicator with strong problem-solving skills


• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
