SSC Space Italy is seeking for its client's Payloads/Equipment Business Units a Payload/Equipment System Engineer
Requirements
- Master’s degree in electronic engineering, Space Engineering, Physics, or equivalent qualification.
- Significant electronic systems design and development experience.
- Verification control experience.
- 5 years minimum system engineering experience, familiar with the various engineering domains (e.g., electronics, structures, etc.).
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Able to discuss with suppliers and customers in English.
- Able to work autonomously following high level instructions.
- Structured work approach.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Requirement breakdown and engineering at unit/subsystem level.
- Definition of unit/subsystem architecture.
- Coordinate internal technical resources (electronic, mechanical, thermal, SW, etc,) and third parties for the flawless procurement of units/subsystems.
- Support the Procurement Manager to ensure that all procurements are completed on\-time, within scope and within the allocated budget.
- Prepare documentation relevant to the assigned tasks.
- Support discussions with external suppliers.
- Support reviews with customers.
- Support the Payload Engineering Manager with payload functional analyses and trade\-offs, interfaces definition and verification, analysis of the performances and design justification.
- Coordinate the requirement verification activities and the preparation of the verification control document.
