Patient Services Assistant
A new clinic. A new chapter. Your chance to be part of it.
After more than a decade caring for patients in Chorley, ProHealth is moving to a new clinic on Euxton Lane, and we're building the team to take us into the next stage. ProHealth Chiropractic is a local team of Chiropractors, Sports Rehabilitators, and Patient Service Coordinators working together to support and improve the health of our community
This isn't just a reception job. You'll be at the heart of the clinic: welcoming patients, backing up our practitioners and making sure the small things happen so the whole day runs smoothly.
Look after our patients
Welcome people and be the friendly first face (and voice) of the clinic
Handle calls, emails and enquiries
Book and manage appointments
Take payments and manage patient accounts
Guide new patients from first enquiry onwards, and build relationships with regulars
Follow up and manage recalls
Support practitioners with diaries and sessions
Keep records and systems accurate
Handle paperwork, correspondence and basic invoicing
Monitor supplies and keep things organised
Spot what needs doing and get it done
The role will grow with the right person. With our team being able to progress from junior, senior and advanced members depending on their working abilities. You don't need to know everything on day one, just enjoy taking ownership.
Chiropractic experience isn't essential. Your attitude is. You might come from healthcare, hospitality, customer service, admin or dental reception, or somewhere completely different.
We need someone who is warm, friendly and easy to talk to
Highly organised, reliable and detail\-focused
Confident on the phone and face to face
Comfortable with computers and learning new systems
Proactive, calm under pressure, and happy to take responsibility
Someone who genuinely enjoys helping people
Above all, you care about doing things properly.
For over a decade, our chiropractors and rehabilitation practitioners have helped people across Lancashire move better, recover and stay active. We work by three values: Caring. Integrity. Dedication to Work. They shape everything we do, from how we answer the phone to the details patients never notice.
In our new premises, we're creating a smaller, more efficient clinic with a close\-knit team, and we want you to help shape it.
