iiS Health – The Cheshire Hand Clinic is seeking a professional, organised and patient\-focused Patient Liaison \& Administrative Assistant to join our growing team.

As the first point of contact for many patients, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional patient experience within the UK's first dedicated private hospital specialising in hand and wrist conditions. This position combines patient\-facing responsibilities with administrative support and requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of service.

The successful candidate will act as a vital link between patients, consultants and the wider clinical team, helping to ensure the smooth day\-to\-day operation of the hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner

  • Support patients throughout their healthcare journey, ensuring a positive experience from initial enquiry through to follow\-up care

  • Manage appointment bookings, confirmations and clinic schedules

  • Answer telephone calls, emails and patient enquiries promptly and professionally

  • Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with data protection and confidentiality requirements

  • Liaise with consultants, clinicians and administrative colleagues to support efficient patient pathways

  • Process correspondence, scan and upload documents, and assist with general administrative duties

  • Assist with invoicing and payment processing where required

  • Help maintain an organised, professional and welcoming reception environment

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes and patient services
Skills \& Experience
  • Previous experience in an administrative, reception, patient liaison or customer service role

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Professional telephone manner and strong written communication skills

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively

  • Experience within a healthcare, dental, optical or private clinical environment would be advantageous

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and administrative software systems

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

  • Positive, proactive and professional approach to work

  • Commitment to delivering outstanding patient service
