Patient Liaison & Administrative Assistant
iiS Health – The Cheshire Hand Clinic is seeking a professional, organised and patient\-focused Patient Liaison \& Administrative Assistant to join our growing team.
As the first point of contact for many patients, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional patient experience within the UK's first dedicated private hospital specialising in hand and wrist conditions. This position combines patient\-facing responsibilities with administrative support and requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of service.
The successful candidate will act as a vital link between patients, consultants and the wider clinical team, helping to ensure the smooth day\-to\-day operation of the hospital.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Support patients throughout their healthcare journey, ensuring a positive experience from initial enquiry through to follow\-up care
- Manage appointment bookings, confirmations and clinic schedules
- Answer telephone calls, emails and patient enquiries promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with data protection and confidentiality requirements
- Liaise with consultants, clinicians and administrative colleagues to support efficient patient pathways
- Process correspondence, scan and upload documents, and assist with general administrative duties
- Assist with invoicing and payment processing where required
- Help maintain an organised, professional and welcoming reception environment
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes and patient services
- Previous experience in an administrative, reception, patient liaison or customer service role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional telephone manner and strong written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Experience within a healthcare, dental, optical or private clinical environment would be advantageous
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and administrative software systems
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Positive, proactive and professional approach to work
- Commitment to delivering outstanding patient service
Pay: £26,436\.00\-£31,200\.00 per year
