The Role
We are seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Patient Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients and a key player in the smooth running of the clinic. This role blends patient communication, appointment management, and administrative duties.
You do not need prior dental experience as what matters most is your attitude, communication skills, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting patients warmly and professionally, in person and on the phone
- Managing the appointment schedule efficiently and proactively
- Processing payments, receipts, and dental insurance claims (training provided)
- Coordinating between patients and clinical staff to ensure smooth daily flow
- Following up with patients regarding appointments, treatment plans, and recalls
- Handling patient enquiries clearly and professionally via phone and email
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring confidentiality at all times
- Assisting with general administrative tasks including scanning, filing, and stock management
- Keeping the reception area organised and calm, especially during busy periods
- Friendly, approachable, and professional with excellent communication skills
- Organised and able to multitask calmly under pressure
- Tech\-savvy and willing to learn practice management software
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive \- someone who takes initiative
- Experience in dental or medical reception is a plus but not essential
- Committed to providing excellent patient service and being a team player
