Patient Care Manager
This role is not just about answering phones.
It’s about being the reason someone feels safe walking through our door.
We believe people don’t change their health because of information alone — they change because they feel understood, supported, and confident they’re in the right place.
That experience starts at the front desk.
Why this role exists
For over 20 years, we’ve helped people in Bury move better, live with less pain, and regain confidence in their bodies.
Our practitioners provide exceptional care — but the patient experience begins long before treatment starts.
We’re looking for someone who can lead our front\-of\-house team with warmth, professionalism, and high standards. Someone who can create a calm, organised environment while helping patients feel genuinely cared for.
What this role involves
This is a people\-first leadership role at the centre of a busy private healthcare centre.
You will:
- Be the first voice and face our patients encounter — in person and on the phone
- Lead and support our reception team day\-to\-day
- Help recruit, train, and onboard new reception team members
- Create and manage reception rotas
- Ensure high standards of patient experience and customer service are consistently maintained
- Confidently explain care plans, pricing, and next steps (full training provided)
- Manage bookings, systems, and daily flow so the centre runs smoothly
- Handle patient concerns calmly and professionally
- Support local talks, events, fairs, and community outreach activities
- Help people feel confident saying “yes” to care that could genuinely improve their quality of life
