We are looking for a proactive and detail\-oriented individual to join our Outpatient Department in a vital administrative role supporting patient access and clinical services.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support, ensuring patient data is accurately recorded and maintained across a range of Trust systems. You will play a key part in managing patient pathways, including processing referrals, supporting the rescheduling of appointments, validating waiting lists, and ensuring clinical outcomes are recorded in line with data quality standards.

Working with a variety of outpatient systems, you will help monitor and analyse patient data, identify and resolve data quality issues, and support the smooth coordination of outpatient clinics. This includes assisting with clinic scheduling, amendments, and cancellations, ensuring services run efficiently and meet patient needs.

As part of the patient access administration team, you will contribute to maintaining accurate waiting lists, support day\-to\-day clinic management, and provide flexible administrative support across the department. You will also work collaboratively with colleagues and managers, adapt to new systems and processes, and support the training of new team members.

Administer iPM and other relevant Trust systems to support outpatient referrals, validation processes, RTT coding, and recording of clinical outcomes.

Ensure all clinic rescheduling requests are prioritised, processed, and accurately recorded on iPM within agreed timescales, minimising disruption to patients and clinicians.

Participate in the ongoing audit of rescheduling activity and escalate any discrepancies or anomalies to the appropriate Supervisor.

Act as a point of reference for patient registrations, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate administration and data entry on iPM.

Work collaboratively within the team to ensure all patients are placed on the appropriate waiting lists and that waiting list entries are recorded accurately in line with Trust Data Quality guidelines.
