QED Legal is recruiting on behalf of a well-established specialist practice seeking an experienced Patent Administrator to join its growing Intellectual Property team.

As a key member of the IP support function, you will play an important role in the administration and progression of patent matters across multiple jurisdictions. Working closely with attorneys and colleagues, you will help ensure that deadlines are met, records are maintained accurately, and client matters progress efficiently.
This position would suit an experienced Patent Administrator looking to further develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.
- Supporting the filing, prosecution, and administration of patent matters across various jurisdictions
- Monitoring critical deadlines and ensuring all actions are completed accurately and within required timescales
- Preparing and processing documentation required for patent applications and related procedures
- Liaising with attorneys, overseas representatives, and internal stakeholders to progress matters efficiently
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring procedural compliance
- Managing workload priorities effectively within a deadline-driven environment
- Assisting with the continuous improvement of internal processes and administrative procedures
- Previous experience within patent administration or patent formalities
- Strong knowledge of patent filing and prosecution processes
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work independently and prioritise competing demands
