Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, move, and position materials within the warehouse


• Assist with inventory management using warehouse management systems to track stock levels accurately


• Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organization to optimize space and accessibility


• Conduct routine equipment repairs or notify maintenance teams of any mechanical issues with forklifts or other machinery


• Support shipping and receiving processes by preparing items for dispatch or receipt, verifying quantities, and inspecting goods for damage


• Perform heavy lifting tasks safely, adhering to safety protocols at all times


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse workspace to promote safety and efficiency

Requirements

• Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in materials handling and inventory procedures


• Valid forklift certification with demonstrated ability to operate equipment safely and confidently


• Mechanical knowledge or experience in equipment repair is highly desirable


• Proficiency with warehouse management systems for tracking shipments and stock movements


• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and measurements


• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing, walking, and repetitive tasks throughout shifts


• Knowledge of shipping \& receiving procedures to ensure smooth logistics operations
