Part-Time Warehouse Operative & Bike Builder

JOB SUMMARY

Quella Bikes is looking for a Part\-Time Warehouse Operative \& Bike Builder to support day\-to\-day warehouse and workshop operations at our Gloucester facility.

This is a practical, hands\-on role combining bicycle assembly, quality control and warehouse duties. You will help prepare bikes for dispatch, maintain workshop standards and support stock handling and order fulfilment operations.

The role is suited to someone reliable, organised and practical, with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Previous bicycle mechanic experience is not required, as training can be provided for the right candidate.

This is a seasonal temporary role with the potential to develop into a full\-time position as the business continues to grow.

THE ROLE

This role is split between warehouse operations and bicycle assembly responsibilities.

You will assist with building and preparing Quella bicycles for customers, carrying out quality checks and ensuring bikes are packed safely and correctly for dispatch. Alongside workshop duties, you will support general warehouse organisation, stock handling and operational tasks.

The role involves working with single speed, geared and electric bicycles within a fast\-paced warehouse and workshop environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders for dispatch


• Pack bicycles, accessories and components safely and accurately


• Assist with goods\-in deliveries and stock organisation


• Move and handle bicycles, boxes and warehouse stock safely


• Maintain a clean, organised and efficient warehouse environment


• Support general day\-to\-day warehouse operations

• Build and assemble bicycles to company standards


• Carry out quality control checks and pre\-dispatch inspections


• Assist with fitting accessories and preparing completed bikes for shipment


• Identify and report any faults or damaged components


• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop area


• Use tools and workshop equipment safely and responsibly

• Positive and reliable attitude


• Practical and hands\-on approach to work


• Good attention to detail


• Comfortable carrying out physical work and lifting bicycles or boxes


• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
